What every fee covers
The value behind every consultation
Our fees reflect the time, expertise, and coordinated approach that every patient receives — not just the minutes in the room.
01
A GP who prepares for you
Your pre-consultation health form is reviewed before your appointment begins — so the consultation starts informed, not from scratch.
02
Flexible, unhurried appointment time
Consultations adapt to your needs. If more time is clinically appropriate, your GP takes it. You will never be rushed out of the door.
03
An agreed care plan, not just advice
Every consultation ends with a clear next step — prescription, referral, investigation, or follow-up — documented and shared with you.
04
GP-coordinated follow-through
Your GP reviews results, manages referrals, and contacts you directly — so you never have to chase the system or repeat your story.
05
A women-only clinical environment
Every aspect of your care is delivered within a practice designed exclusively for women — with the privacy, sensitivity, and expertise that demands.
Our promise to every patient
You are a person,
not a patient number.
We will always treat you with the time and respect your health deserves.
We will listen — fully and without judgment — because your story matters to your care.
We will be transparent about your options, your costs, and your care plan at every step.
We will never charge you for something you didn't need, or surprise you with fees you didn't agree to.
We will stay by your side — not just for one appointment, but for as long as you need us.
No hidden charges — ever
The fee you see is the fee you pay. Prescriptions, medical letters, sick notes, and referral letters are all included in your consultation fee. There are no administration fees, no booking fees, and no charges for follow-up calls or results communication.

Pricing FAQs
Common questions about fees
Is the prescription fee included?
Yes. If a private prescription is clinically appropriate during your consultation, it is issued at no additional charge. The prescription is included within your consultation fee and can be sent directly to your preferred pharmacy or provided to you digitally.
Are there any registration or admin fees?
No. There are no registration fees, no admin fees, and no charges for booking. The fee shown for each service is the total you pay. Medical letters, sick notes, and referral letters issued during your consultation are also included in the consultation fee.
Do I pay for test results or follow-up calls?
No. When test results are sent to our clinic, your GP reviews them and contacts you directly to discuss findings and next steps. This follow-up communication is included in your consultation — you are not charged separately for results calls or correspondence.
Are specialist referral fees separate?
The referral letter itself is included in your consultation fee. However, if you are referred to a specialist or for investigations, the fees charged by that specialist or laboratory are separate and will be communicated to you before you proceed. Your GP will always discuss the expected costs before coordinating any referrals.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards. Payment is taken securely at the time of booking. We do not accept payment by cheque or bank transfer for standard consultations. For workplace healthcare or bespoke arrangements, invoicing can be arranged.
Can I claim my consultation on health insurance?
Some private health insurance policies cover GP consultations. We recommend checking with your insurer directly. We can provide an itemised receipt following your consultation to support any insurance claim. We do not currently accept direct insurance billing — payment is made at the time of booking.
Is membership better value than one-off appointments?
For women who need more than occasional GP care, membership is significantly better value — and offers priority booking, continuity with your GP, and proactive health planning that one-off appointments don’t include. If you book two or more consultations per month, membership is likely to cost less and deliver considerably more. Visit our membership page for full details.
What if I need a longer appointment than planned?
Consultations at Her Healthcare are not rigidly time-limited. If your GP determines that more time is clinically appropriate, she will adapt the appointment accordingly. You will not be charged extra for a consultation that runs longer than the standard window — your health needs always come first.
