What to Expect
during your GP Appointment
Your GP Appointment Approach
During your consultation, your GP will approach your health through the lens of women’s healthcare. This means looking beyond isolated symptoms and considering factors such as hormonal health, lifestyle, reproductive health, and life stage.
Our consultations are guided by four key principles that shape how care is delivered in practice.
Continuity of Care
Whenever possible, you will see the same GP for follow-up consultations. Your doctor will take time to understand your health history and continue building a clear picture of your health over time.
Life-Stage Focused Care
Your consultation takes into account the stage of life you are in — whether related to reproductive health, hormonal changes, or healthy ageing.
Preventative & Proactive Care
Your GP may discuss lifestyle factors, early symptoms, or preventative health measures that support long-term wellbeing.
Integrated & Coordinated Care
If tests, investigations, or specialist referrals are needed, your GP will guide the next steps and help coordinate your care.
After your GP Consultation
Follow-Up and Ongoing Support
The next steps after your consultation depend on your individual needs and the plan agreed with your GP.
Your Consultation Outcome
Your concern may be fully addressed during the consultation, especially if you visited for a one-off GP appointment.
Further Investigations or Referrals
If needed, your GP may recommend tests, investigations, or referrals to other specialists.
Follow-Up Communication
Our administrative team will send any relevant information, referrals, or instructions discussed during your appointment.
Coordinated Follow-Up
Your GP reviews your results and contacts you directly, avoiding multiple separate appointments and reducing fragmented care.

You are always welcome to contact us if you have questions, wish to book a follow-up consultation, or want to stay connected with our work in improving women’s healthcare

Frequently asked questions
How do I book a GP consultation?
You can book an appointment directly through our website by selecting either an in-person or online consultation, choosing your preferred location, date, and time. Once your booking is confirmed, our team will send you a short health assessment form to complete before your appointment.
What happens before my consultation?
After booking, you will receive a pre-consultation health assessment form. This helps your GP understand your health background and the reason for your visit before the appointment, allowing the consultation to focus on your concerns and make the best use of your time.
How long is a consultation?
Appointments are scheduled within a 30-minute window, but consultations are not strictly time-limited. If more or less time is needed, your GP will adapt the consultation accordingly in discussion with you.
What can I expect during my consultation?
During your consultation, your GP will discuss your symptoms, health history, and any relevant lifestyle factors. Our approach focuses on women’s health, considering factors such as hormonal changes, reproductive health, and life stage to ensure care reflects the broader context of your wellbeing.
Will I receive treatment or recommendations during the consultation?
Yes. Following your discussion with the GP, you and your doctor will agree on the most appropriate next steps for your care. Depending on your needs, this may include prescriptions, referral letters, medical certificates, investigation requests, or recommendations for follow-up care.
What happens if I need tests or referrals?
If further investigations or specialist referrals are recommended, your GP will guide the next steps. Where possible, results can be sent directly to our clinic so your GP can review them and contact you to discuss the findings and next steps.
Do I need to book another appointment to review my test results?
Not necessarily. When results are sent to our clinic, your GP reviews them and we will contact you to discuss the outcome and any next steps. This helps avoid the need for multiple separate appointments with different providers.
Can I book a consultation just once, or do I need ongoing care?
You are welcome to book a one-off GP consultation for a specific concern. Some patients choose ongoing support and follow-up care and apply for our membership plans, while others simply need help with a particular issue — both options are absolutely welcome.
Do you offer services beyond standard GP consultations?
Yes. In addition to standard GP appointments, we also offer advanced healthcare services, such as workplace healthcare, wellbeing programmes, and other specialised support. You can submit a request through our website and our team will contact you to discuss your needs.
Can I contact you after my consultation if I have questions?
Absolutely. If you have questions following your consultation or need help coordinating the next steps in your care, you are always welcome to contact our team.
What is your cancellation and refund policy?
If a consultation cannot take place due to circumstances on our side, we will provide a full refund.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we kindly ask that you do so at least 24 hours before the scheduled consultation in order to receive a refund. This allows us to manage the GP’s schedule and make the appointment available to other patients.
If an appointment is booked within 24 hours of the consultation time, or cancelled less than 24 hours in advance, refunds may not always be possible. However, if there are exceptional circumstances, please contact our team and we will review the situation and do our best to assist where possible.
What if I cannot find an available appointment time?
If you cannot find a suitable appointment time on our website, please contact us directly. Our team will do their best to help accommodate your request or suggest the closest available option. We aim to remain as flexible as possible and will always try to find a solution that works for your schedule whenever we can.
