One of the most common
conditions, still under-diagnosed
A full hour to properly investigate PCOS and hormonal imbalance — looking at the whole picture, not just irregular periods, and not stopping at a diagnosis without a real plan.
PCOS is common —
proper diagnosis isn't always
Affecting an estimated 8–13% of women of reproductive age, PCOS is one of the most common hormonal conditions — and still one of the most frequently under-diagnosed or diagnosed late.
Our medical approach
"PCOS is a whole-body condition — hormonal, metabolic and reproductive — not simply a fertility issue to be addressed only when pregnancy is being considered."
A proper diagnostic assessment using recognised criteria, not a guess based on one symptom alone.
These are recognised features of PCOS worth investigating together, not addressing individually and separately.
PCOS carries longer-term metabolic and cardiovascular considerations worth addressing proactively.
Not a simple GP appointment — properly diagnosed, on purpose
Diagnosis requires at least two of three specific features, with other causes ruled out first — not a symptom-based assumption.
Not every diagnosis requires an ultrasound — your GP determines what's actually necessary based on your specific presentation.
Metabolic health, skin, hair, weight and long-term cardiovascular risk are considered alongside reproductive health.
Addressed directly if relevant to you, without treating it as the only reason PCOS matters.
Independent of the NHS throughout, with your record held privately and never shared without your explicit consent.
You leave with practical next steps — not a label without a path forward.
Know, understand,
act — with real clarity
A full history and assessment against recognised diagnostic criteria — not a single symptom taken in isolation.
A clear explanation of what's actually happening — hormonal, metabolic and reproductive — and what it means for you specifically.
A practical plan covering what matters to you now, whether that's symptom management, fertility, or long-term health.
Clear costs, no surprises
We believe knowing the price upfront is part of feeling safe and respected. What you see is what you pay.

Trusted by women across the UK
Real care builds real relationships. Here's what our patients say.
"For the first time in years I felt truly listened to. My GP didn't rush me, took everything seriously, and I left with a clear plan. It genuinely changed how I think about my health."
"I'd been struggling with perimenopausal symptoms for over a year and felt dismissed elsewhere. Here I was heard immediately. The holistic approach made all the difference."
"Booking was easy, the clinic was calm and private, and seeing the same doctor each time means she knows my story. It's the kind of healthcare I always wanted but never had."
Everything you need to know
Using the internationally recognised Rotterdam criteria, PCOS is diagnosed when at least two of three features are present: irregular or absent ovulation, clinical or biochemical signs of excess androgens, and polycystic ovarian appearance on ultrasound. Other causes are ruled out first.
Not always. Diagnosis depends on which two of the three Rotterdam criteria are present — some women are diagnosed without needing an ultrasound at all.
PCOS affects an estimated 8–13% of women of reproductive age, making it one of the most common hormonal conditions — yet it's frequently under-diagnosed or diagnosed late.
PCOS can affect ovulation and fertility, but many women with PCOS conceive naturally or with straightforward treatment. This is addressed directly and honestly as part of your consultation.
No. PCOS is a whole-body hormonal and metabolic condition — linked to insulin resistance, weight, skin and hair changes, and long-term cardiovascular risk, not only reproductive health.

PCOS, diagnosed properly
and managed for the long term
This is not a simple GP appointment. PCOS affects an estimated 8–13% of women of reproductive age, making it one of the most common hormonal conditions in women's health — and yet it remains frequently under-diagnosed, or diagnosed only after a long, frustrating process.
Diagnosis, done properly
The internationally recognised Rotterdam criteria require at least two of three features to be present — irregular or absent ovulation, clinical or biochemical signs of excess androgens, and polycystic ovarian appearance on ultrasound — with other conditions, such as thyroid dysfunction, ruled out first. Not every case requires an ultrasound; this depends on which criteria are already met.
A whole-body condition, not a fertility-only issue
PCOS is linked to insulin resistance, metabolic health, weight, skin and hair changes, and longer-term cardiovascular risk — the conversation extends well beyond reproductive health, even for women not currently focused on fertility.
What happens after your appointment
You leave with a written plan addressing what matters most to you — whether that's symptom management, fertility planning, or proactive long-term health monitoring.
