Conditions We Treat · Her Healthcare UK
Your symptoms, understood.
Investigated. Treated.
Whatever you are experiencing, we have seen it before and we are here to help. From acute everyday concerns to complex, multi-system conditions — all through a GP who coordinates, connects, and stays with you.
Our approach to every condition
Your GP is the
project manager of your health
Most healthcare treats conditions in isolation — one appointment, one prescription, one referral — with nobody holding the thread between them. At Her Healthcare, your GP takes a different role entirely. She is the central coordinator of your health journey.
That means she doesn’t just treat what’s in front of her. She looks at the full picture: your hormonal context, life stage, mental health, lifestyle, family history, and the connections between symptoms that might look unrelated in a standard 10-minute appointment. Then she builds a plan — and she stays with it.
Root-cause investigation, not surface treatment
We look for why the symptom exists, not just what to do about it in the short term.
Connected, not fragmented
Symptoms that seem unrelated are often connected. Your GP builds the full picture across every appointment.
Coordinated with every specialist involved
Tests, referrals, results — your GP manages and reviews everything, so you never navigate alone.
Proactive, not just reactive
We plan ahead — identifying risks early and building pathways to keep you well, not just treating problems as they arrive.
How your GP manages your care
"One GP. Your whole health story. Nothing missed."
1
Full history review
GP reviews your health history, life stage, hormonal context and current symptoms holistically before every consultation.
2
Root-cause assessment
Rather than treating the presenting symptom alone, your GP investigates the underlying drivers — hormonal, nutritional, psychological, or physiological.
3
Investigations & plan
Blood tests, referrals, and further investigations are arranged and coordinated directly — with a clear written care plan agreed with you.
4
Results reviewed by GP
Results are sent directly to your GP, who reviews them and contacts you — you never chase results or navigate the system alone.
5
Ongoing review & adjustment
Your care plan evolves over time — updated at each follow-up to reflect your current health, life stage, and progress.

Every condition we see — across every life stage
If you don't see your symptom or condition listed, it doesn't mean we can't help. Book a consultation — our GPs assess everything in context.
Women's hormonal health is deeply connected to almost every other system in the body — and it changes throughout life. Our GPs treat these not as isolated issues but as part of the wider hormonal picture, investigating root causes and managing care over time rather than prescribing quick fixes.
Everything a GP sees day-to-day — infections, injuries, illnesses, and the full range of common health concerns. The difference is that at Her Healthcare, these are never treated in isolation. Your GP considers your full health picture at every appointment, even for seemingly straightforward presentations.
Women's mental health is inseparable from their physical health — hormonal changes, life stage transitions, chronic illness, and sleep all directly affect mood, cognition, and emotional wellbeing. Our GPs treat mental health in context, not in isolation — and are experienced in recognising hormonal drivers that are frequently missed elsewhere.
Chronic conditions require a GP who can hold the full picture over time — not a series of disconnected appointments. Her Healthcare's GP-led care model is particularly well-suited to complex presentations where multiple systems are involved, because your GP coordinates every aspect of your care without fragmentation.
Changes in your skin, hair, weight, or body composition are rarely cosmetic concerns — they are frequently early signals of hormonal, metabolic, or nutritional imbalances. Our GPs investigate the underlying cause, not just the surface presentation, which is why so many women find answers here that they never received elsewhere.
You don't need to be unwell to benefit from expert GP care. Preventive appointments are for women who want to understand their health, catch problems early, and build a personalised plan for long-term wellbeing. This is proactive medicine — not reactive treatment.
Scope of care
What falls outside our scope
Safe, high-quality care means being transparent about what Her Healthcare GPs can manage, and when to seek other services. Your safety is always our first priority.
Seek immediate help — 999 or A&E
Her Healthcare is not an emergency service. If you are experiencing any of the following, please call 999 or attend your nearest A&E immediately — do not wait for a GP appointment.

- Suspected stroke —facial drooping, speech difficulty, arm weakness (FAST)
- Severe allergic reaction (anaphylaxis)
- Heavy uncontrolled bleeding
- Sudden severe abdominal or pelvic pain
- Loss of consciousness or collapse
- Suicidal thoughts or immediate mental health crisis
- Signs of ectopic pregnancy
- Suspected meningitis
- Serious injury requiring surgical assessment
For non-emergency concerns outside office hours, call NHS 111 or visit 111.nhs.uk
When we will refer you to a specialist
Our GPs are specialists in whole-person medicine, but there are times when the best care involves collaboration. Referrals are not a limitation — they are part of responsible, high-quality care. Your GP coordinates every referral and stays actively involved in your care throughout.
- Gynaecology — surgical assessment for endometriosis, fibroids, cysts
- Endocrinology — complex hormonal or metabolic conditions
- Fertility clinic — investigations and assisted conception
- Dermatology — lesions or conditions requiring specialist procedures
- Rheumatology — autoimmune conditions requiring specialist oversight
- Cardiology — cardiac investigations or advanced management
- Psychiatry or psychology — specialist mental health treatment
